Marketing Specialist

Reporting to the President/CEO, the Marketing Specialist plans for, directs and coordinates all marketing functions and Community Involvement of the credit union. The successful candidate will demonstrate a “can-do” attitude, a working knowledge of credit union procedures, products and services and be able to work with various individuals and departments to create marketing plans to achieve credit union goals.  Above all the individual must be positive, energetic and willing to have fun!       

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

•  Develops and executes marketing plans and programs to ensure Credit Union growth.

• Plans and oversees the Credit Union’s marketing to include print, radio, tv, direct mail, internet, and social media.

• Creates, edits and keeps updated promotional materials such as brochures, newsletters, posters, take-ones, the website and other forms of communication.

• Oversees the Credit Union’s Onboarding Program for new members.

• Conducts marketing surveys and compiles results.

• Maintains Credit Union website and social media.

• Maintains proper inventories of marketing materials and supplies.

• Prepares monthly marketing packet, updates LED signs, and is responsible for Credit Union’s email marketing.

• In charge of Annual Meeting and Credit Union week.

• Complies with the Credit Union’s Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policy and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A Bachelors degree or equivalent from a four-year college or 3 to 5 years of related experience.  Must have good communication skills be able to multitask as well as work individually and in a team atmosphere.

Position is an on site position currently, and work hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Some after hours meetings may be required. Central Maine FCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
