
How to Use the "Forgot the Security Code" (password) Function For Online Banking
In order to use this function, you must:
1) Know your Logon ID (User ID);
2) Know the answers to your challenge questions; and
3) Have the correct email address on file with the credit union.
Go to the online banking Log On screen. Click on Reset security code (password)
Click on I’m not a robot.
Sometimes you will be showed a series of photos and be asked to select the ones that contain a certain object. Sometimes you will not be asked to do this.
Click on Continue.
Enter your Logon ID. Click on Next.

Dear Member,
You recently requested a security code (password) reset.
Your confirmation code is: 2452f1c2
To change your security code (password), enter or copy/paste the confirmation code into the confirmation code field in your browser. The confirmation code will expire in 15 minutes.
If you did not initiate a security code (password) reset, please contact your financial institution. This is a notice only - please do not respond to this message, as any response would be communicated over the internet. Since internet e-mail is not a secure form of communication, we cannot assure the privacy of this type of communication.

You will receive the email above from info@centralmainecu.com with a confirmation code that you must use. This confirmation code is only good for 15 minutes.
Enter the confirmation code you received in the email.
Click on Next.
You will be required to enter the answers to one of your challenge questions.
Then click on Next.
You will be required to enter and re-enter a NEW Security Code/Password. Do not attempt to reuse a previously used password.
Your password must be:
· 9 to 16 characters;
· At last one upper case letter;
· At least one lower case letter;
· At least one number;
· One special character such as ! @ # $ % ^ &
Click on Save.
When you see the message above, you have reset your password and can log in.
You will receive the following email from info@centralmainecu.com:
