Donations New Beginnings of Lewiston Receives
Donation from Central Maine Credit Union Central Maine Federal Credit Union recently presented a check for $1,000 to New Beginnings for their annual fundraiser. The funds were used to support the 5K Trick or Treat Pumpkin Trail Run held at Lost Valley on October 30, 2011. New Beginnings is a progressive community-based agency committed to improving the quality of life for runaway and homeless youth.

 Central Maine Federal Credit Union has donated $1,000 to the St. Martin de Porres Residence in Lewiston. The funds were raised through the credit union’s campaign for Ending Hunger, which raises money to distribute to local organizations that serve those in need. St. Martin’s Residence exists to share Christ, to provide temporary shelter and to restore the referred homeless adults to independent living. It is committed to serving its guests with respect, patience, kindness, and above all, hope. Brother Irenee Richard, accepted the donation from Vicki L. Stuart, CEO of Central Maine FCU. Central Maine Credit Union Makes Donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Auburn/ Lewiston
 Central Maine Federal Credit Union has donated $1,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Auburn and Lewiston. The Auburn/Lewiston Clubhouse has offered after school programs for children ages 7-18 years old since 1995. The Club provides a safe environment for youth to spend their time. The Club, a positive place for kids, enables young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Robert A. Clark, Chief Professional Officer of the Boys & Girls Club, accepted the donation from Christine Allen, VP Financial Services, Central Maine FCU.
Central Maine Medical Center’s Arbor House Receives Donation from Central Maine Credit Union
 Central Maine Federal Credit Union recently presented a check for $1,000, to Central Maine Medical Center’s Arbor House, a hospitality house, located near the hospital on Lewiston's Main Street. Jeri Maurer, left, Guest Relations Coordinator for Arbor House, accepted the donation from Christine Allen, VP Financial Services of Central Maine FCU, who has also served as a CMMC Associate since 2007. Christine works on special projects, fundraising and public awareness for the services available at CMMC, such as the Arbor House, an important component of CMMC's mission of service to patients and their families.
Donation made to Greater Androscoggin Humane Society

Vicki Stuart, CEO of Central Maine FCU presented the check to Steven Dostie, Executive Director of GAHS. Central Maine Federal Credit Union recently presented a check for $1,000 to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society. The shelter is located at 55 Strawberry Avenue in Lewiston and serves Androscoggin County as well as its outlying areas. The shelter is committed to providing the best possible care for stray, abandoned and abused animals. They have numerous programs available for pet adoptions. They are supported primarily by donations. With the help of many extremely dedicated volunteers and staff, GAHS continues to work toward a more Humane Community.
Adopt A Family Central Maine Federal Credit Union employees adopted a family in need for the holidays and collected an assortment of clothing, toys and gift cards to give to the family. The items were presented to Safe Voices to distribute to the family.
Credit Union employees are involved in numerous charity and community events throughout the year. Staff at the Credit Union wanted to share their Christmas spirit with others. Pictured:
